Lulworth Castle Wedding

Ben & Becky's Lulworth Castle Wedding

Located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country Lulworth Castle was the backdrop to Becky & Ben's wonderful wedding, and what a cracking day it was.

For those who don't know about Lulworth castle, It was built between 1606 and 1610 primarily as a hunting lodge and subsequently played host to five reigning monarchs before being gutted by fire in 1929. A disastrous episode in the castles history but now serves as the most incredible and stunning wedding venue in the county. As the castle's interior has been destroyed this has left a massive void which lets light in from every possible angle making it a photographers dream. And if you take the time to look up you will see surviving eclectic styles where the castle has changed throughout its 400 years. http://www.lulworth.com/castle-park/

The day itself went without a hitch with the weather behaving itself. Becky looked stunning as did her gorgeous bridesmaids who were escorted to the venue by our good friends Jason & Keith at the Dorset Dub Hire ranch http://www.dorsetdubhire.com/

Ben and his groomsmen were on top form taking an early morning dip in Lulworth cove, and why not.. its a magical place.

lots of tears of joy followed by a steak dinner professionally carved by a chosen table member, hats and aprons included, then speeches followed by cake cutting (A bloody great sword, not your conventional cake cutting implement...good skills) and it did the job.

More photos dancing and food ended a perfect day for Becky & Ben.

A wonderful couple and we wish them all the best for the future

So heres a few shots of the day
