A Beautiful Wedding Somewhere In a Field In Somerset

Katie & Tim's Wedding

If it's one thing we LOVE its a wedding in the countryside, especially if it's near the beach, and today's didn't disappoint.

The setting was a huge field close to the beautiful village of Porlock complete with tree covered hills and bails of hay, nothing could be better.

We met up with Katie & her bridesmaids at the picturesque Luttrell Arms http://www.luttrellarms.co.uk/
to record the girls getting ready. Katie looked stunning with hair  by  Rachel Louise http://www.rachel-louise.com/pages/home and make up by Frankie  http://www.frankielabordabridal.com/

Katie's Bridesmaids were awesome, doing a great job of looking after the Bride and keeping everything happy. They also made us both laugh ... we love this.

The ceremony was at the fantastic Selworthy Church and conducted by the happiest vicar in the world, He also commented on how shiny our shoes were. (Good to keep standards).
Tim and his Groomsmen looked really dapper and the couple were married without a hitch.

We followed the couple to the reception where it was apparent that most of the guests were from Australia and had made the long trip over to celebrate the couples big day,...fair dinkum cobber.

We have to mention Aussie star Uncle Kev at this point who kept us entertained throughout the day with stories from the homeland.(He seemed to be everywhere we were) Dave swears he had a twin.

The wedding breakfast was followed by some great speeches from the boys, It was interesting to find out how Tim had once fought off a Bull shark.........Deadset Tim.

This was followed by the cake cutting which had been lovingly home made by the couples close friend.

Katie and Tim's first dance led us into the evening reception, with help from top tunes from The Cat Empire and of course......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR9iY5y94s

It was a real pleasure to photograph Tim & Katie's wedding they are a lovely couple and we wish them their family, friends and of course the Bridesmaids  all the best for the future.

So here are a few images from the day
